Crispy Baked Tofu
Golden, crispy, and dusted with garlicky nooch goodness: this simple baked tofu is about to become your new obsession.
| Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 45 minutes Total Time: 55 minutes Servings: 4 |

Ingredients
1 14oz. Block of Tofu (extra firm is our personal favorite!)
1 tablespoon Olive Oil
2 tablespoons Northwest Nooch
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
- “Press” the extra liquid out of the tofu by wrapping it in a paper towel or a clean dish towel, placing a plate on top, and pushing down gently. Try to get the tofu as dry as possible!
- Cut the tofu into even cubes.
- Add the cubed tofu and olive oil into a large bowl and use a spatula to toss the tofu until it’s evenly coated. Add your Northwest Nooch and toss the tofu again until it’s evenly coated in all the smoky, cheddar-y goodness Northwest Nooch has to offer.
- Transfer the tofu to a baking sheet and bake on the top rack of your oven (closest to the heat!) for 45 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Enjoy!

my go to for buddha bowls! tip: cut cubes (1/2 inch) for maximum crispiness and more area for the nooch. flip halfway through for even browning. so so good (:
Wanted to love this but 45 min is long when you’re getting home around 5-6pm. Edges bit overdone on mine. The nutritional yeast crust concept is solid though. Will try with less time tomorrow.
